Tunisia seeks to strengthen trade ties with Ethiopia

Ethiopia's Foreign Minister Gedion Timothewos met with his Tunisian counterpart Mohamed Ali Nafti. During their discussions, they focused on trade and investment relations, with Tunisia expressing a desire to strengthen these ties. Similarly, Dr. Gedion Timothewos met with Burundian Foreign Minister Edward Bizimana to explore ways to further strengthen bilateral ties. During that discussion, they agreed to convene a Joint Ministerial Commission meeting in the near future to review existing cooperation agreements and identify new areas of collaboration.

These meetings took place on the margins of the 48th Ordinary Session of the African Union Executive Council. Such engagements are expected to bolster cooperation between the involved nations.
