Ensamble Vocal Raíces representará al Valle en el Festival Mono Núñez

El Ensamble Vocal Raíces, de la Escuela de Música Desepaz, participará en las semifinales del 52.º Festival Mono Núñez el 26 de junio.

El Ensamble Vocal Raíces, dirigido por el maestro César González, está conformado por estudiantes y egresados de la Escuela de Música Desepaz en Cali. La agrupación superó las audiciones regionales y presentará su propuesta el 26 de junio a las 8:00 de la noche en el Coliseo Gerardo Arellano.

Contará con el acompañamiento de Guillermo Quiceno en el piano y Duberney Betancourt en el tiple. Su repertorio se basa en tradiciones de la música andina colombiana.

La clasificación representa un logro para el proceso formativo de la institución, que busca preservar expresiones musicales del suroccidente colombiano. La presentación se realizará junto a agrupaciones de otras regiones del país.
