Hockey Canada ilmoitti tiistaina, että hyökkääjät Porter Martone ja Dawson Mercer liittyvät maajoukkueeseen ennen perjantain MM-avausottelua Ruotsia vastaan.

Philadelphia Flyersin vuoden 2025 NHL:n varaustilaisuudessa kuudentena varaama 19-vuotias Martone teki vaikutuksen ensimmäisissä yhdeksässä runkosarjaottelussaan keräämällä kymmenen tehopistettä.
