Lando Norris marked his 2025 Formula 1 championship with a balcony appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The McLaren driver reflected on childhood dreams and discussed future plans with Valentino Rossi.
Norris took the McLaren MCL60 up the Goodwood hillclimb before joining the Duke of Richmond on the iconic balcony. He told the crowd he had visited the event with his family 13 or 14 years earlier and aspired to stand there one day.
"This has been my dream since I was a kid," Norris said during an interview with Karun Chandhok. He also noted meeting his hero Valentino Rossi the previous day and called the experience "good fun."
Norris confirmed interest in a future 24 Hours of Le Mans entry with Rossi, saying "Hell yeah, I would." McLaren team principal Andrea Stella joined the celebration but stressed the team is already looking ahead to the rest of the 2026 season.
