Leksand on vahvistanut joukkuettaan 26-vuotiaalla kanadalaispuolustaja Carter Bergerillä Hockeyallsvenskan-kautta varten. Berger liittyy joukkueeseen kauden jälkeen, jonka hän pelasi kolmessa eri seurassa Pohjois-Amerikassa ja Euroopassa.

Ruotsalaisseura tiedotti sopimuksesta 8. toukokuuta. Berger aloitti viime kautensa AHL-liigan Lehigh Valley Phantomsissa, josta hän siirtyi ECHL-liigan Reading Royaliin ja myöhemmin Slovakian pääsarjan HC 05 Banska Bystrica Zvoleniin.
