Yksi Ringhalsin ydinvoimalaitoksen neljännen reaktorin turbiineista on ollut poissa käytöstä lauantaiehtoon alkaen. Vattenfallin mukaan reaktori toimii nyt puoliteholla.

Tuotantokatkoksen odotetaan kestävän ensi viikon alkuun saakka. Syynä on yhden generaattorin vesivuoto.

Puolet Ruotsin ydinreaktoreista on jo suljettu huoltotöiden vuoksi. Ringhals 3 on ollut suljettuna toukokuun alusta lähtien.

Fortumin sähkön hinta-asiantuntija Patrik Söderstenin mukaan häiriö pitää sähkön hinnan korkeana Etelä-Ruotsissa. Siellä hinnan odotetaan nousevan huomenna 74 äyriin, kun se on tänään 19 äyriä.
