Concrete debris fell toward the school grounds, covering part of the parking area and blocking a water channel, disrupting normal flow.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Isnawa Adji, confirmed the incident. "The preliminary cause is due to unstable soil structure, landfill soil," he told reporters on Monday, February 16, 2026. Fortunately, no lives were lost.
Immediately after the event, personnel from various agencies were deployed to clear the debris. Involved teams included BPBD DKI Jakarta, South Jakarta Water Resources Agency, PPSU of Kalibata Subdistrict, Neighborhood Community Institution (LMK), local subdistrict officials, and community police officers.
