The National Social Security Administration (Anses) continues its February 2026 payment schedule, reorganized due to the carnival holiday. On Wednesday, February 25, retirees and pensioners with earnings above the minimum and DNI endings 4 and 5 receive payments, along with pregnancy benefit holders with DNI ending 9, and unemployment benefits for DNI endings 2 and 3. The change does not affect benefit amounts or conditions.
Anses has officialized an adjustment to the February 2026 payment schedule due to the carnival holiday, which impacts the usual deposit scheme for retirees and pensioners. This operational reorganization, related to banking operations in the second month of the year, requires beneficiaries to check dates based on their national identity document (DNI) ending.
For this Wednesday, February 25, benefits are credited to the following groups:
- Retirements and pensions exceeding the minimum earnings: holders with DNI ending in 4 and 5.
- Pregnancy assignment: holders with DNI ending in 9.
- Unemployment benefit: holders with DNI ending in 2 and 3.
The full February schedule includes staggered payments from February 9 to March 2 for retirements, non-contributory pensions, family allowances such as the Universal Child Allowance (AUH), and one-time benefits for birth, adoption, or marriage, which extend to March 12 for certain fortnights. Anses emphasizes that this change does not alter the amounts or current conditions of the benefits, only the order of accreditations.
This measure aims to maintain payment continuity despite holiday interruptions, ensuring that millions of Argentines receive their social benefits in an orderly manner.
