Bobby Witt Jr. and Cristopher Sánchez earned American League and National League Player of the Week honors on Monday for their standout performances from May 4 to 10.

Bobby Witt Jr. batted .407 with three home runs and a 1.263 OPS during the week, collecting 11 hits including a four-hit game against the Guardians. The Royals shortstop raised his season batting average to .302 and his OPS to .847 while posting 2.8 bWAR, tied for the major league lead among position players.
