Bre-B system surpasses 100 million keys in six months

Data as of April 5 reveals 34.66 million users and 103.38 million registered keys. A total of 638.69 million transactions have been completed, averaging $157,193 each.

Alphanumeric keys lead with 57.7 million (55.8%), followed by cell phone numbers (20.8 million, 20.1%), identity documents (13 million, 12.5%), email addresses (8.4 million, 8.1%), and merchant codes (3.6 million, 3.5%).

The report states an average of 1.5 keys per payment method and three per client, signaling deeper integration into daily financial life and progress in interoperability across institutions.
