Punong BSP, pinakamataas pa rin ang bayad sa listahan ng mga opisyal ng gobyerno

Si BSP Governor Eli Remolona Jr. ang nanguna sa taunang listahan ng mga opisyal ng gobyerno na may pinakamataas na net pay na P52.756 milyon noong 2025, ayon sa ulat ng Commission on Audit.

Batay sa 2025 Report on Salaries and Allowances ng COA, tumaas ang net pay ni Remolona mula sa P47.97 milyon noong 2024 at P35.46 milyon noong 2023. Kasama sa kanyang bayad ang P12 milyon na basic pay, P18.02 milyon sa allowances, at P21.67 milyon sa bonuses at benefits.

Labing-apat na iba pang opisyal mula sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas ang nakapasok sa top 20. Kasama dito si Deputy Governor Elmore Capule na may P36.015 milyon at senior assistant governor Johnny Noe Ravalo na may P30.588 milyon.

Nakatanggap si Remolona ng zero compensation mula sa 10 iba pang government-owned corporations kung saan siya nagsilbi bilang board member. Ang lahat ng kanyang bayad ay nagmula sa BSP.
