Chronoswiss launches Delphis Art Deco jump-hour watch

Swiss watchmaker Chronoswiss has introduced the Delphis Art Deco, a limited edition timepiece inspired by the 1920s Art Deco movement. The 150-piece series features a 42mm titanium case and distinctive dial layout with jumping hours and retrograde minutes. Priced at CHF 14,500, it draws on geometric designs for a modern take on Roaring Twenties aesthetics.

Chronoswiss unveiled the Delphis Art Deco at its headquarters in Lucerne, blending its signature jumping hour display with Art Deco influences from a century ago. The watch centers a retrograde minute hand that sweeps across the dial and snaps back hourly, paired with a jumping hour at 12 o'clock and small seconds at 6 o'clock over baby-blue lacquer on a hand-guilloché base. The nickel-coated, laser-etched dial in gray tones creates a three-dimensional effect, accented by white typography and gold-plated elements for contrast. Chronoswiss officials described it as Art Deco 2.0, suited for today's Roaring Twenties with geometry, symmetry, and refined contrasts updated for contemporary tastes. The 42mm by 14.4mm Grade 5 titanium case offers a lightweight feel with a matte gray finish and 100-meter water resistance. Inside beats the in-house Caliber C.6004, an automatic movement developed with La Joux-Perret, providing a 55-hour power reserve visible through a sapphire case back with fine finishing. It ships on a black nubuck strap, with an optional fumé bronze alligator strap available. Chronoswiss set the price at CHF 14,500, €15,900, US$17,500, or £15,300, positioning it as an archetypal piece with the brand's regulators, oversized crowns, and detailed designs.
