Comelec naglulunsad ng ‘Register Anywhere’ program sa select na site

Naglu-launch ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) ng Special Register Anywhere/Anytime Program nito sa select na lokasyon sa Manila ngayong Pebrero upang mapadali ang voter registration para sa darating na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections. Ang program ay bahagi ng nationwide voter registration drive ng poll body. Ito ay nagbibigay-daan sa mga aplikante na magrehistro o i-update ang kanilang records sa mga handy na lugar.

Ang Special Register Anywhere/Anytime Program (SRAP) ng Comelec ay naglalayong tulungan ang mga Pilipino na magrehistro bilang botante o i-update ang kanilang registration nang hindi kailangang bumalik sa kanilang munisipyo. Ito ay bahagi ng mas malawak na nationwide voter registration drive na nagsimula noong Oktubre 20, 2025, at magpapatuloy hanggang Mayo 18, 2026, mula Lunes hanggang Sabado, kabilang ang holidays, mula 8 a.m. hanggang 5 p.m. sa mga lokal na opisina ng Comelec.

Para sa Pebrero 2026, ang mga SRAP site sa Manila ay kinabibilangan ng:
- Robinson Metro East (Pebrero 20, 2026; 9 a.m. hanggang 5 p.m., bukas sa publiko)
- Megaworld – Broadway (Pebrero 21, 2026; 8 a.m. hanggang 5 p.m., bukas sa publiko)
- Megaworld – Village Square (Pebrero 21, 2026; 8 a.m. hanggang 5 p.m., bukas sa publiko)
- Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) (Pebrero 23, 26-27, 2026; 8 a.m. hanggang 5 p.m., bukas sa komunidad ng ADMU)
- Department of Foreign Affairs (Pebrero 24, 2026; 9 a.m. hanggang 5 p.m., bukas sa komunidad ng DFA)
- Megaworld – Arcovia City (Pebrero 28, 2026; 8 a.m. hanggang 5 p.m., bukas sa publiko)

Ang mga aplikasyon na tatanggapin ay kinabibilangan ng bagong registration para sa first-time voters, transfer ng registration sa loob ng parehong lungsod/distrito/munisipyo, transfer mula sa ibang lungsod, transfer mula sa Office for Overseas Voting Post patungo sa lokal na lungsod, pagwawasto ng entries o pagbabago ng status, at reactivation.

Kinakailangan ng valid na government-issued ID; hindi tatanggapin ang cedula, barangay ID o certificate, company ID, o police clearance.

Samantala, nagpatuloy ang voter registration sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao mula Pebrero 9 hanggang Marso 30, 2026, pagkatapos ng posponement ng unang parliamentary elections doon.
