Comelec rolls out register anywhere program at select sites

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is launching its Special Register Anywhere/Anytime Program at select locations in Manila this February to facilitate voter registration for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections. The initiative forms part of the poll body's nationwide drive. It enables applicants to register or update records at convenient sites.

The Special Register Anywhere/Anytime Program (SRAP) by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) aims to help Filipinos register as voters or update their records without needing to return to their municipality. It is part of a broader nationwide voter registration drive that began on October 20, 2025, and will continue until May 18, 2026, from Mondays to Saturdays, including holidays, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at local Comelec offices.

For February 2026, the SRAP sites in Manila include:
- Robinson Metro East (February 20, 2026; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., open to the public)
- Megaworld – Broadway (February 21, 2026; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., open to the public)
- Megaworld – Village Square (February 21, 2026; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., open to the public)
- Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) (February 23, 26-27, 2026; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., open to the ADMU community)
- Department of Foreign Affairs (February 24, 2026; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., open to the DFA community)
- Megaworld – Arcovia City (February 28, 2026; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., open to the public)

The program will process applications for new registrations for first-time voters, transfers within the same city/district/municipality, transfers from another city, transfers from Office for Overseas Voting Post to a local city/district/municipality, corrections of entries or changes of status, and reactivations.

A valid government-issued ID is required; cedula, barangay ID or certificate, company ID, or police clearance will not be accepted.

Meanwhile, voter registration in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao resumed from February 9 to March 30, 2026, following the postponement of the region's first parliamentary elections.
