Ekman Larsson extends contract with Tingsryd

Defenseman Kevin Ekman Larsson will remain with Tingsryd for an eighth season after extending his contract. The 31-year-old returns following a season limited by injury.

Tingsryd announced the extension this week. Ekman Larsson has spent most of his senior career with the club after earlier stints in the AHL, Karlskrona, BIK and the British EIHL.

The past season was disrupted by injury. He appeared in only 14 regular-season games for Tingsryd in Hockeyettan.

The club hopes he returns healthy for the autumn series. Ekman Larsson is the brother of NHL defenseman Oliver Ekman Larsson.
