Mga dayuhang silid at MBC sumuporta sa plano ekonomiko ni Marcos

Sinuportahan ng mga dayuhang grupo ng negosyo at ng Makati Business Club ang agenda ekonomiko ni Pangulong Marcos sa kanyang ikalimang SONA ngunit binigyang-diin ang pangangailangan ng matibay na implementasyon.

Sinabi ng American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines na naaayon ang pokus ni Marcos sa competitiveness, energy security at investment reforms sa mga rekomendasyon ng Joint Foreign Chambers. Sinuportahan din nila ang pag-amyenda sa EPIRA at pamumuhunan sa nuclear energy at imprastraktura.

Binigyang-diin ng German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry ang kahalagahan ng regulatory efficiency at pagpapalawak ng free trade agreements. Nanawagan naman ang Makati Business Club ng mas malakas na implementasyon upang makamit ang patuloy na paglago.

Sinabi ni Executive Secretary Ralph Recto na ang SONA ay may tamang timpla ng substansya at hindi lamang retorika. Siniguro naman ng Senado at ng House of Representatives ang suporta sa legislative agenda ng administrasyon.
