Bumaba ang Typhoon Francisco sa severe tropical storm noong Huwebes, Hunyo 25, habang papasok naman ang Tropical Storm Higos sa Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Ayon sa PAGASA, nasa 415 kilometro hilagang-silangan ng Itbayat, Batanes ang sentro ng Francisco noong 4 ng umaga. Ito ay may maximum sustained winds na 100 kilometro kada oras at gumagalaw pahilaga-silangan sa 15 km/h.

"Sa 2 a.m. ngayong araw, humina pa ang Typhoon Francisco at ibinaba sa severe tropical storm," ani weather specialist Leanne Loreto.

Inaasahang lalabas ang Francisco sa PAR sa hapon o gabi ng Huwebes. Samantala, ang Higos na matatagpuan 1,750 km silangan ng Central Luzon ay papasok sa PAR ngayong gabi at tatawaging Gardo. Hindi ito inaasahang makakaapekto sa bansa.
