Ayon kay Garin, bumagsak ang presyo ng langis pagkatapos ng ceasefire noong Miyerkules, Abril 8, ngunit umakyat muli ito pagkatapos ng banta ni Trump na magsara ng Strait of Hormuz. "Ang rollback bukas (Martes) ay sigurado. Kung may pagtaas, sa susunod na linggo na iyon," ani niya.

Samantala, sinabi ni Transportation Undersecretary Mark Steven Pastor na P1.4 bilyon pa ang hindi nadidistribyutang subsidies sa mga operator at driver ng public transport, at hiniling ang karagdagang P5 bilyon para sa service contracting program. Halimbawa, sa 21,000 benepisyaryo ng public utility bus drivers, hindi hihigit 2,000 ang nakakuha; sa 1,138 ng mini-bus, higit 100 lamang.

Dagdag pa rito, ayon kay Department of Economy, Planning and Development Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, maaaring kailanganin ang P11 bilyon para sa mga apektado sa Metro Manila lamang. Ang P238 bilyon na pondo sa General Appropriations Act para sa taong ito ay maaaring magtagal lamang ng tatlong buwan, na may P125 bilyon na nailabas hanggang ngayon.
