A new documentary titled Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition arrives in cinemas on May 7. The 106-minute film follows the British metal band from their East End origins in the 1970s to their current stadium tours.
Directed by Malcolm Venville, the movie draws on interviews with past and present band members along with comments from Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, Public Enemy's Chuck D and actor Javier Bardem. It covers the creation of the band's mascot Eddie and a 1984 performance behind the Iron Curtain in Poland where military police reportedly joined the crowd.
