Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc must report to the FIA stewards on Friday after arriving late to the official press conference on Thursday ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix.
Both drivers face the summons for an alleged breach of Article B10.1.1a of the FIA Formula 1 regulations, which covers media activities and official ceremonies. The Thursday press conference features six drivers split into two groups over a one-hour slot. Norris and Leclerc did not arrive on time for their session. The regulation requires selected drivers to attend, while others participate in a separate non-clashing session. Late attendance is a breach even if it appears minor, as the session is televised live. Similar past cases include penalties for swearing in 2024 sessions, though one late arrival by Max Verstappen in Austria resulted in no penalty after advance notification.
