A man in his 40s died in a traffic accident on county road 919 between Vadstena and Ödeshög on Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 5 p.m. when the man drove off the road. He was taken by ambulance to hospital but his life could not be saved.
Police suspect no crime behind the incident. Relatives have been notified.
The road was closed during the rescue operation and the car was later towed from the scene.
