Pemuda Pancasila members storm PWI Kudus office

Members of the Pemuda Pancasila organization stormed the Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Kudus office on Tuesday night (14/4/2026). The action was reportedly linked to an AI-generated photo illustration posted by Tribun Jateng. PWI Kudus condemned the intimidation against the journalist present.

The PWI Kudus office was stormed by Pemuda Pancasila (PP) members around 10:00 PM WIB on April 14, 2026. At the time, only Tribun Jateng journalist Rifqi Ghozali was alone in the office.

The group demanded clarification on an AI-generated photo illustration used by Tribun Jateng in a report about alleged extortion by rogue organization members against a street vendor (PKL) on Jalan Sunan Muria. PWI Kudus reported verbal intimidation, disruptive actions, and threats forcing Rifqi Ghozali to record an apology video.

"The storming action by Pemuda Pancasila masses at the PWI Kudus Office and IJTI Muria Raya is a misdirected action," PWI Kudus stated on April 15, 2026. They stressed that any fault in the photo illustration is fully the responsibility of Tribun Jateng, not the professional organization PWI.

PWI Kudus emphasized that clarifications on media reports should follow the Press Law mechanisms, such as right of reply or correction, not through mass mobilization with intimidation.
