Mga post na nagpapakita ng listahan ng mga tagapakinabang ng UCT at 4Ps ay peke

Mga post sa social media na nag-aangkin na nagpapakita ng mga listahan ng mga tagapakinabang ng Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) at Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) ay hindi totoo. Ayon sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), walang mga opisyal na listahan na inilalathala online dahil sa Data Privacy Act of 2012. Ang mga link sa mga post na ito ay humahantong sa mga hindi kaugnay na e-commerce sites.

Nagpakalat ng mga post sa Facebook ang pahina na 'Kabayan Newsline Updates' na nagpapakita ng mga diumano'y listahan ng mga tagapakinabang ng UCT at 4Ps. Ang unang post tungkol sa UCT ay may 163 shares, habang ang pangalawa tungkol sa 4Ps ay may 160 shares. Nag-circulate din ang mga ito sa mga grupo tulad ng '4ps all Region update and payout' na may 118,000 miyembro at 'DSWD 4P’S LANDBANK PAY-OUT NEWS UPDATE' na may 85,900 miyembro. Gumamit ang mga post ng pangalan at logo ng DSWD, na maaaring magbigay ng impresyon na opisyal ito.

Ayon sa DSWD, hindi inilalathala ang mga masterlist ng mga tagapakinabang ng 4Ps dahil sa Data Privacy Act of 2012. Ang mga payout schedule ay hindi rin ipinapakita online; awtomatikong ikinakredito ito sa mga cash card ng mga tagapakinabang. Noong Hunyo 2024, sinabi ng DSWD sa Rappler na ang mga tagapakinabang ay binibigyan ng impormasyon tungkol sa kanilang schedule sa pamamagitan ng mga city o municipal links, at hindi sila makakacheck online kung sila ay scheduled para sa payout.

Samantala, ang UCT program ay itinigil na noong 2020 dahil sa kakulangan ng budget. Ito ay orihinal na ipinatupad upang magbigay ng cash assistance sa mahihirap na pamilya upang mabawasan ang epekto ng Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law. Ang 4Ps naman ay inilunsad noong 2008 bilang national poverty reduction strategy na nagbibigay ng conditional cash transfers sa mga tagapakinabang na napili sa pamamagitan ng National Targeting Household System o Listahanan.

Ang opisyal na updates tungkol sa 4Ps at iba pang programa ng DSWD ay makikita sa opisyal na website o verified social media pages ng ahensya.
