Ipina-deploy ang mga pulis at rescue units sa mga lugar na ito, ayon kay PNP chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

"This Holy Week, more than 99,000 police personnel have been deployed nationwide, including 7,700 at beaches and resorts, 12,400 at pilgrimage sites and churches, and 20,000 at airports and seaports," ani Nartatez sa isang pahayag.
Pinayuhan niya ang publiko na iwasan ang mga mapanganib na aktibidad sa tubig sa panahon ng holiday weekend.

Hinikayat din ng PNP ang mga mamamayan na ingatan ang mga personal na gamit, sumunod sa traffic rules, at mag-ulat ng suspicious activities sa pinakamalapit na himpilan o sa 911 hotline.
Good Friday ang rurok ng Holy Week, kung saan maraming religious processions ang ginagawa.

Ang extended weekend mula Maundy Thursday hanggang Black Saturday ay isa sa pinakamalaking travel period sa bansa, na may mataas na dami ng pasahero sa mga bus terminals, airports, at seaports.
