Pumasok sa 2026 Quacquarelli-Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject ang University of the Philippines (UP), De La Salle University (DLSU) at Ateneo de Manila University. Nakakuha ng puwesto sa top 100 ang UP sa Library and Information Management, habang mataas din ang kanilang performance sa iba pang disiplina. Ipinakita rin ng DLSU at Ateneo ang kanilang lakas sa maraming subject areas.
Sinuri ng QS higit 21,000 academic programs mula sa mahigit 1,900 unibersidad sa 100 bansa, na sumasaklaw sa 55 disiplina sa limang broad faculty areas. Ang UP ay umabante sa top 100 sa Library and Information Management, na hindi pa ito ranked noong nakaraang taon. Nasama rin ito sa top 200 sa Hospitality and Leisure Management, at nag-maintain ng top 200 sa Agriculture & Forestry, Anthropology, Archaeology at English Language & Literature. Bukod dito, kinilala ang UP sa 16 na karagdagang subjects tulad ng Biological Sciences, Business & Management Studies, at iba pa, na nagdadala sa kabuuang 22 ranked subjects. Umakyat ito ng 58 places sa Social Sciences and Management at 74 sa Arts and Humanities, na may pag-unlad sa Life Sciences and Medicine pati Engineering and Technology. “The results show our continued efforts to strengthen programs across a wide range of subject areas, delivering the quality of education expected of a national university. Ang UP ang nanguna sa mga unibersidad sa Pilipinas sa QS World University Rankings 2026, sa 362nd globally. Ang DLSU ay nanguna sa Business & Management Studies (401-450) at Education and Training (351-400), at leading private uni sa Computer Science & Information Systems (551-600), Economics & Econometrics (451-500), English Language & Literature (201-250) at Politics (301-400). Nag-improve din ito sa Arts & Humanities (=365) at Social Sciences & Management (=382). Samantala, ang Ateneo ay mataas sa pitong subjects, kabilang ang Theology, Divinity & Religious Studies (51-100), Anthropology (101-200), at iba pa. Nag-rank din ito sa Arts & Humanities (=333) at Social Sciences & Management (401-450). Ayon sa QS, pinakamataas ang pag-unlad sa Southern Asia.
