Un audit municipal a révélé que les bureaux de l'administration de la ville d'Addis-Abeba détiennent des milliards de birrs qui n'ont été ni encaissés ni dépensés, malgré la mobilisation d'un montant record de 233,7 milliards de birrs pour l'exercice 2024/2025.

L'audit montre que l'administration a dépensé 232,5 milliards de birrs, soit 99,5 % de ses prévisions budgétaires.
