La commission éthiopienne des douanes a collecté 600 milliards 233 millions de birrs au cours des 10 premiers mois de l'exercice budgétaire. Le commissaire, le Dr Debele Qabeta, a déclaré que ce résultat représente 100,2 pour cent de l'objectif fixé.

Dans le cadre des opérations contre la contrebande et la fraude commerciale, les autorités ont déféré 1 295 personnes devant la justice.
