Latarius Dale a été condamné à la réclusion à perpétuité assortie d'une possibilité de libération conditionnelle pour l'agression de son ex-compagne au marteau de charpentier en février 2025 en Alabama. Dale s'est introduit par effraction au domicile de Brittany Moulton à Lovetown après que celle-ci a bloqué tout contact suite à leur séparation en novembre 2024. Il l'a frappée plus de vingt-quatre fois au visage, à la tête et à la poitrine, la laissant inconsciente, avec une plaque métallique dans le crâne et une cécité permanente à l'œil droit.
