Allianz Indonésie note que l'inflation médicale fait augmenter les coûts de santé plus rapidement que la croissance économique nationale, qui se situe autour de 5 %. Les données de la Banque mondiale montrent que les dépenses de santé par habitant sont passées de 118 dollars US en 2019 à 132 dollars US en 2023.

De 2020 à 2025, les coûts moyens par cas ont augmenté de 169 % pour les AVC, 219 % pour les maladies cardiaques, 179 % pour le cancer, 183 % pour la dengue et 116 % pour la typhoïde, selon les chiffres d'Allianz.

Le directeur des produits d'Allianz Life Indonesia, Cheang Khai Au, a déclaré que la hausse des coûts médicaux affecte la manière dont les gens préparent leur protection financière. Il a conseillé aux clients de revoir régulièrement les avantages de leur police afin de maintenir une couverture optimale.
