Antolin obtient le soutien des banques pour refinancer 80 pour cent de sa dette

Le fournisseur espagnol de composants automobiles Antolin a conclu des accords avec des entités bancaires pour refinancer plus de 80 pour cent de sa dette financière, tout en faisant face à une action en justice de la part de certains détenteurs d'obligations.

L'entreprise basée à Burgos a ajouté la Banque européenne d'investissement et l'Instituto de Crédito Oficial au syndicat des créanciers, aux côtés de Banco Santander, BBVA, CaixaBank, Banco Sabadell, Bankinter et HSBC. Ces entités représentent désormais plus de 80 pour cent des créanciers financiers.

L'objectif est de réorganiser la structure du capital pour assurer sa viabilité future. L'exécution des accords nécessite une approbation judiciaire en Espagne et aux États-Unis, où Antolin a demandé à être inclus dans le chapitre 15 du code américain des faillites (US Bankruptcy Code).

Par ailleurs, un groupe de détenteurs d'obligations dirigé par Benefit Street Partners a déposé une plainte devant la Haute Cour de Londres contre Antolin et des sociétés irlandaises liées à Spire Asset Management. Les plaignants soutiennent que le plan favorise la dette bancaire au détriment des obligations et remettent en question la capacité de la famille actionnaire à conserver le contrôle sans apport de capital supplémentaire.
