BlackRock dépose une mise à jour pour son ETF Bitcoin Premium Income

BlackRock a soumis une mise à jour réglementaire pour son ETF iShares Bitcoin Premium Income, rapprochant le produit d'un lancement sous le symbole boursier BITA. Le fonds vise à générer des revenus en vendant des options d'achat sur des actifs liés au Bitcoin, tout en facturant des frais de gestion de 0,65 %.

Le plus grand gestionnaire d'actifs au monde a déposé cet amendement auprès de la Securities and Exchange Commission le 10 juin. Le prospectus fixe des frais annualisés de 0,65 % et décrit une stratégie consistant à vendre des options d'achat sur 25 % à 35 % de la valeur nette d'inventaire du fonds.

Un investisseur initial a acheté 198 000 actions à 50 dollars chacune le 1er juin, apportant ainsi 9,9 millions de dollars. Le 9 juin, le trust a acquis 109,9630217 Bitcoins et 90 901 actions de l'iShares Bitcoin Trust de BlackRock, puis a vendu 856 contrats d'options.

Le dépôt signale un lancement à court terme et intensifie la concurrence avec Goldman Sachs, dont l'ETF Bitcoin Premium Income devrait devenir effectif au début du mois de juillet. L'analyste Eric Balchunas a noté que les frais de 0,65 % sont inférieurs à ceux des deux plus grands ETF Bitcoin à option d'achat couverte existants.

BlackRock debuted its iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF, known as BITA, on Nasdaq on June 16. The fund provides Bitcoin exposure through a covered call strategy designed to generate monthly income. It trades alongside the firm's larger spot Bitcoin ETF, IBIT.

BlackRock filed paperwork this week to list a new Bitcoin income ETF on Nasdaq. The iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF, ticker BITA, is expected to begin trading as soon as June 18.
