La maire d'Addis-Abeba, Adanech Abiebe, et le vice-Premier ministre, Temesgen Tiruneh, ont assisté au lancement d'un ouvrage documentant la transformation de la ville.

Addis-Abeba, 15 mai 2026 (FMC) Un livre intitulé Addis as New, qui documente la croissance et la transformation d'Addis-Abeba, a été officiellement lancé aujourd'hui. Lors de la cérémonie de lancement, la maire Adanech Abiebe a déclaré que ce livre raconte l'histoire de la tenue des promesses faites à la population par le biais de l'action. Le vice-Premier ministre, Temesgen Tiruneh, a affirmé que la transformation réalisée dans la ville a été consignée par écrit comme une référence pour l'histoire. Le livre a été coécrit par l'écrivain anglais, le professeur Simon Lee, le Dr Clement Katulushi, le Dr Hiruy Kumbi, d'origine éthiopienne, et leur équipe. De hauts responsables gouvernementaux ainsi que des chercheurs internationaux ont assisté à l'événement.
