Cantaor, taureau exceptionnel de Victoriano del Río, reçoit une vuelta al ruedo à Las Ventas

Le taureau Cantaor, de l'élevage de Victoriano del Río, s'est distingué lors de la corrida du 22 mai à Las Ventas, dans le cadre de la feria de San Isidro. Sebastián Castella a combattu l'animal en quatrième position et le taureau a reçu une vuelta al ruedo pour sa bravoure.

Cantaor, numéro 79, robe noire et pesant 572 kilos, né à Madrid en novembre 2020, a fait preuve de bravoure et de noblesse lors du tiers de la muleta. L'animal a galopé vers le matador, permettant des séries de passes longues et profondes qui ont rempli la plaza d'applaudissements. Sebastián Castella a livré une prestation propre et enchaînée, mais a échoué à l'estocade avec une pinchazo et plusieurs descabellos. Le président a accordé une vuelta al ruedo au taureau et Castella lui a donné un baiser d'adieu. Les autres taureaux de Victoriano del Río étaient inégaux. Emilio de Justo et Tomás Rufo n'ont pas obtenu de triomphes marquants lors de leurs combats respectifs. La plaza a enregistré un plein avec 22 964 spectateurs.
