Cantaor, toro excepcional de Victoriano del Río, recibe la vuelta al ruedo en Las Ventas

El toro Cantaor, de la ganadería de Victoriano del Río, destacó en la corrida del 22 de mayo en Las Ventas durante la Feria de San Isidro. Sebastián Castella lidió al animal en cuarto lugar y el toro recibió la vuelta al ruedo por su bravura.

Cantaor, número 79, negro listón y de 572 kilos, nacido en Madrid en noviembre de 2020, demostró bravura y nobleza en el tercio de muleta. El animal galopó al encuentro del torero y permitió series de muletazos largos y profundos que llenaron la plaza de aplausos.

Sebastián Castella realizó una faena limpia y ligada, pero falló en la estocada con un pinchazo y varios descabellos. El presidente premió al toro con la vuelta al ruedo y Castella le dio un beso de despedida.

Los otros toros de Victoriano del Río fueron desiguales. Emilio de Justo y Tomás Rufo no lograron triunfos destacados en sus respectivas lidias. La plaza registró lleno con 22.964 espectadores.
