Le vice-Premier ministre Temesgen Tiruneh a déclaré que les programmes de développement dans la ville de Harar contribuent largement à transformer le mode de vie des résidents urbains et à améliorer la culture de la production.

Le vice-Premier ministre Temesgen Tiruneh a indiqué sur sa page de réseau social qu'il avait visité les travaux des programmes de développement en cours, impliquant l'apiculture, la production laitière et l'élevage de volailles dans la ville de Harar. Il a expliqué que des hangars sont construits à l'initiative de particuliers et au niveau gouvernemental dans la ville, et que des travaux sont en cours pour créer des villages dédiés au miel, au lait, aux œufs et au poisson. Cet effort revêt une grande importance pour transformer fondamentalement le système alimentaire du pays et atteindre l'autosuffisance alimentaire, a-t-il ajouté. Une attention particulière est également accordée à l'amélioration des races d'animaux, de poulets et de poissons, ainsi qu'aux installations de transformation des aliments pour animaux.
