Deputy prime minister temesgen tiruneh highlights role of development packages in harar

Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh said development packages in Harar city are making a big contribution to changing urban residents' lifestyles and improving production culture.

Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh stated on his social media page that he had toured ongoing development package works involving honey, milk and chicken farming in Harar city.

He explained that sheds are being built at the initiative of individuals and the government level in the city, with work underway to establish villages for honey, milk, eggs and fish.

This effort holds great significance for fundamentally changing the country's food system and achieving food self-sufficiency, he added. Attention is also being given to improving breeds of animals, chickens and fish as well as to feed processing facilities.
