Espinosa de los Monteros confirme son expulsion de Vox

Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, l'un des fondateurs de Vox, a annoncé mercredi que le parti lui avait notifié son expulsion définitive.

Dans une vidéo publiée sur X, l'ancien député et adhérent numéro cinq du parti a déclaré que cette décision ne le surprenait pas, bien qu'elle lui cause une certaine tristesse. Il a rappelé les débuts de Vox aux côtés de Santiago Abascal, lorsque le groupe était restreint et défendait ses convictions avec clarté et sens institutionnel.

Espinosa de los Monteros, qui avait quitté la direction en 2023, faisait l'objet d'une procédure disciplinaire ouverte en mars en raison de ses critiques sur la ligne du parti. Dans son message d'adieu, il a réitéré qu'il continuerait à défendre la liberté et l'Espagne.

Cette expulsion s'ajoute à celles d'autres figures critiques telles que Javier Ortega Smith et José Ángel Antelo.
