Espinosa de los Monteros conferma la sua espulsione da Vox

Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, uno dei fondatori di Vox, ha annunciato mercoledì che il partito gli ha notificato la sua espulsione definitiva.

In un video pubblicato su X, l'ex deputato e iscritto numero cinque al partito ha affermato che la decisione non lo ha sorpreso, sebbene gli abbia causato una certa tristezza. Ha ricordato gli inizi di Vox insieme a Santiago Abascal, quando il gruppo era piccolo e difendeva le proprie convinzioni con chiarezza e senso delle istituzioni.

Espinosa de los Monteros, che ha lasciato la dirigenza nel 2023, era stato sottoposto a un procedimento disciplinare aperto a marzo a causa delle sue critiche verso la linea del partito. Nel suo messaggio di commiato ha ribadito che continuerà a difendere la libertà e la Spagna.

L'espulsione si aggiunge a quelle di altri esponenti critici come Javier Ortega Smith e José Ángel Antelo.
