L'Éthiopie étend son réseau de distribution électrique sur plus de 9 000 km

L'Ethiopian Electric Service a déployé plus de 9 000 km de nouvelles lignes de distribution au cours des neuf derniers mois.

Addis-Abeba, 29 Miyazya 2018 (FMC). Au cours de cette période, 3 518 km de lignes à moyenne tension et 6 069 km de lignes à basse tension ont été installés. De plus, 3 683 nouveaux transformateurs de distribution de diverses capacités ont été mis en service. Le service a mené des inspections préventives couvrant 62 274 km de lignes à moyenne tension et 67 131 transformateurs afin d'améliorer l'infrastructure existante. Des mesures correctives ont permis de résoudre 92 pour cent des causes identifiées d'interruptions de courant sur le réseau de distribution et 86 pour cent des problèmes liés aux transformateurs. Par ailleurs, 3 099 km de lignes à moyenne et basse tension ont fait l'objet de travaux de reconstruction. Des mises à niveau de capacité ont été réalisées sur 1 579 transformateurs de distribution existants.
