Une équipe familiale remporte les premiers prix au concours d'étalons de la Fell Pony Society

Bob Beaty et sa petite-fille Bronte Crosby ont connu un franc succès lors du concours d'étalons et de poulains 2026 de la Fell Pony Society, qui s'est tenu le 9 mai. Leurs poneys, Oscar II et Stennerskeugh Nicholas, ont décroché les plus hautes distinctions dans les catégories étalons et hongres. L'événement a eu lieu à Dalemain House, près d'Ullswater.

Bronte Crosby a présenté les deux poneys gagnants lors du concours. Oscar II, âgé de quatre ans et acheté par la famille alors qu'il n'avait que deux ans, a été sacré champion suprême par le juge Michael Goddard. Stennerskeugh Nicholas, un hongre de huit ans élevé par la famille, a remporté le championnat des hongres le même jour.

A 20-year-old grey gelding named Briar Snowman has claimed the senior ridden championship at the 2026 Royal Windsor Horse Show. Ridden by 10-year-old Penny Richardson, the pony secured victory for the Richardson family after recovering from serious health problems.

Dannie Morgan, Sadie Smith, and Gracie Catling each won three titles at the NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships, which ran from April 15 to 19. Morgan claimed gold in the Nupafeed advanced medium freestyle on Kristina Rausing’s Belinski with a score of 72.33%. Amateur riders Bethany Edginton and Jessica Allen secured silver medals in their respective classes.
