Family team claims top prizes at fell pony society stallion show

Bob Beaty and his granddaughter Bronte Crosby enjoyed success at the Fell Pony Society’s 2026 Stallion and Colt Show on 9 May. Their ponies Oscar II and Stennerskeugh Nicholas took the top honours in the stallion and gelding sections. The event was held at Dalemain House near Ullswater.

Bronte Crosby handled both winning ponies at the show. Four-year-old Oscar II, which the family bought as a two-year-old, was named supreme champion by judge Michael Goddard. Eight-year-old home-bred Stennerskeugh Nicholas claimed the gelding championship on the same day.
