Le marché des prêts sur gage devrait croître de plus de trente pour cent d'ici 2028

ICRA prévoit une expansion du marché des prêts sur gage dans un contexte de hausse des actifs non performants liés à une transition vers des mensualités. Les sociétés financières non bancaires (NBFC) devraient capter une part plus importante alors que de nouveaux acteurs entrent dans le secteur.

Le marché global des prêts sur gage devrait croître de plus de trente pour cent, atteignant trente lakh crores d'ici mars 2028.

La part de marché des NBFC devrait augmenter pour atteindre vingt-trois pour cent d'ici 2027-2028, soutenue par l'arrivée de nouveaux entrants et des banques dans ce segment.

Selon les projections, le passage des prêteurs des remboursements in fine aux régimes de mensualités pourrait entraîner une hausse des actifs non performants (NPA).
