Heron Preston L.E.D. Studio et Rishi Assar transforment des panneaux new-yorkais en mobilier

Le designer indépendant Rishi Assar s'est associé au studio L.E.D. de Heron Preston pour créer une collection capsule de mobilier réalisée à partir de panneaux de signalisation récupérés dans les rues de New York. Les pièces ont été dévoilées chez Lichen et se composent de chaises et de tabourets fabriqués à partir de véritables panneaux municipaux.

La collection réutilise les infrastructures réelles du département des Transports pour en faire des assises fonctionnelles. Chaque élément provient de panneaux de signalisation authentiques ayant servi à guider les véhicules et les piétons à travers la ville, incluant des panneaux stop, des signalisations d'écoles et des limitations de vitesse qui conservent leur aspect patiné.
