Le chanteur d'IDLES, Joe Talbot, et son père Nigel ont inauguré une nouvelle exposition d'art explorant les thèmes de la mémoire et de la famille au Newport Museum and Art Gallery, dans le sud du pays de Galles.

L'exposition, intitulée 'Mausoleum – Remembrance of Remembering', a ouvert ses portes le 23 mai et se poursuivra jusqu'au 12 septembre. L'entrée est gratuite et l'exposition présente des sculptures réalisées à partir de matériaux récupérés et recyclés. Les œuvres examinent la mémoire à travers la métaphore du récipient. Elles se concentrent sur la relation père-fils et questionnent les histoires qui sont retenues ou cachées. Une description de l'exposition indique que les pièces révèlent la mémoire comme étant fragile et subjective, façonnée au fil des générations.
