Un propriétaire de Louisiane offre 240 millions de dollars à ses 540 employés après la vente de son entreprise

L'ancien propriétaire de Fibrebond, Graham Walker, a remis 240 millions de dollars aux 540 employés de l'entreprise dans le cadre d'une vente de 1,7 milliard de dollars.

Le fabricant basé en Louisiane a finalisé la transaction, le versement de cette somme constituant une condition nécessaire à l'accord. Chaque employé à temps plein a reçu en moyenne 443 000 dollars, les paiements étant répartis sur cinq ans et les membres du personnel les plus âgés étant prioritaires.

Walker, qui possédait auparavant l'entreprise, a structuré ces primes afin de récompenser les contributions à long terme de ses salariés. Cette distribution honore des décennies de service au sein de l'usine.

La vente et les primes associées aux employés ont attiré l'attention en raison de leur ampleur et de leur impact direct sur les bénéficiaires.
