Le commandement du Nord-Ouest est prêt à repousser toute attaque, déclare un général

Le chef d'état-major adjoint, le général Abebaw Tadesse, a affirmé que le commandement du Nord-Ouest est préparé à contrer les attaques d'ennemis historiques ou de bandits.

Le général Abebaw Tadesse a tenu ces propos lors d'une visite dans la zone opérationnelle du commandement. Il a souligné que le commandement a rempli ses missions de défense avec héroïsme. Le commandement a joué un rôle majeur dans la lutte contre les invasions du TPLF et a pris des mesures fermes contre le groupe extrémiste national qui tentait de semer le trouble dans la région Amhara, a-t-il déclaré. Il a exhorté les troupes à perpétuer l'héritage héroïque de leurs pères afin de protéger l'Éthiopie pour les générations futures. Le chef du commandement du Nord-Ouest, le lieutenant-général Berhanu Bekele, a déclaré que le commandement a accompli ses missions successives avec détermination. Sa préparation pour les tâches futures est plus élevée que jamais, a-t-il ajouté.
