La National Testing Agency a mis en place des mesures de sécurité strictes à travers le pays pour le réexamen du NEET-UG 2026 ce 21 juin. L'épreuve initiale, prévue le 3 mai, avait été annulée suite à des allégations de fuite de sujets.

La NTA a déployé 138 560 caméras de vidéosurveillance, 51 311 brouilleurs et des dispositifs de vérification biométrique dans 5 440 centres d'examen. L'épreuve concernera plus de 2,2 millions de candidats dans 551 villes indiennes et 14 centres à l'étranger.

L'agence a mené un exercice de simulation à l'échelle nationale le 20 juin. L'examen se déroulera de 14h00 à 17h15, offrant aux candidats 15 minutes supplémentaires.

L'épreuve initiale du 3 mai a été annulée le 12 mai. Une enquête du CBI est en cours. La NTA a exhorté les candidats à se fier uniquement aux informations officielles.
