Le PSOE et Sumar bloquent des amendements visant à voter pour des élections anticipées

La Mesa du Congrès, à majorité PSOE et Sumar, a rejeté mardi des amendements de Junts et du PP qui visaient à forcer un vote sur la convocation d'élections générales anticipées.

L'organe a rejeté les propositions au motif qu'elles empiètent sur les compétences exclusives du Premier ministre. Les amendements avaient été déposés dans le cadre d'une motion du PP et visaient à ce que le Congrès exhorte Pedro Sánchez à dissoudre le Parlement. Des sources parlementaires ont indiqué que la décision s'appuyait sur la jurisprudence existante. Ester Muñoz, porte-parole du PP, a qualifié cette décision d'arbitraire et a accusé Francina Armengol de travailler pour Sánchez. Le gouvernement a réitéré son intention d'aller au terme du mandat jusqu'en 2027. Junts et le PP ont confirmé qu'ils n'avaient pas coordonné leurs initiatives.
