Quantic Dream ferme Spellcasters Chronicles après un nombre de joueurs insuffisant

Quantic Dream met fin à son MOBA free-to-play Spellcasters Chronicles, faute d'avoir su attirer suffisamment de joueurs. Le studio va se réorganiser mais a confirmé que le développement de Star Wars Eclipse se poursuivait sans être affecté.

Quantic Dream a annoncé cette fermeture dans une déclaration le 20 mai. Le jeu avait été lancé en accès anticipé sur Steam en février et avait atteint un pic de 888 joueurs simultanés avant de tomber sous la barre des 100 utilisateurs quotidiens. Les serveurs resteront en ligne jusqu'au 19 juin 2026, date à laquelle ils seront définitivement fermés. Les joueurs ayant dépensé de l'argent pendant l'accès anticipé peuvent demander un remboursement intégral.
