Renovación Nacional défère la sénatrice Camila Flores devant son tribunal suprême dans le cadre d'une enquête pour fraude

La direction de Renovación Nacional a déféré vendredi la sénatrice Camila Flores devant le Tribunal suprême du parti. Cette décision fait suite à une enquête sous scellés du parquet de Valparaíso concernant des faits présumés de fraude aux fonds publics.

La décision a été prise après que des agents du service OS-9 des Carabineros se sont rendus mercredi au bureau de la sénatrice au Congrès national pour y mener des investigations. L'enquête, menée par la procureure Paola Castiglione de l'unité anti-corruption, porte sur des retenues salariales irrégulières présumées sur les émoluments de ses conseillers lorsque Mme Flores était députée, entre 2018 et 2026. La secrétaire générale du parti, Katherine Martorell, a confirmé que le parti avait transmis tous les dossiers au Tribunal suprême. « Nous avons remis tous les éléments au Tribunal suprême afin qu'il adopte les mesures correspondantes conformément à nos statuts », a-t-elle déclaré. Mme Martorell a ajouté que Renovación Nacional espère que la justice agira « avec la plus grande célérité et la plus grande rigueur possibles ». La sénatrice Camila Flores a qualifié ces accusations de « dénuées de fondement », et son avocat, Luis Masferrer, a annoncé des poursuites judiciaires.
